1. What is a Visionkeeper?
A Visionkeeper is a “keeper of the vision,” an ordinary person with a heart for God and His people who has been trained to take the vision, strategy, tools and courses offered by Visionwriters to others. A VK is a facilitator who shares our passion to eliminate from
the world the ache of a silent God.
2. Do I need to be a church leader to be a good Visionkeeper?
At Visionwriters our strategy for daily discipline and weekly
accountability is facilitated through Visionkeepers who are trained to take the
vision, strategy, tools and courses offered by this ministry to their own
churches, homes or ministries. Each
Visionkeeper handles the class forum, registrations and encouragement of
students. We are proud of those who go
through our training to “do the work of the ministry” without having to worry
about putting each lesson together. VK’s
are not necessarily teachers or people who want to be; they simply want to help others realize what
they’ve been realizing...a greater depth of intimacy with God through Christ. To be a good VK you simply need to have a heart for this after you've experienced it yourself.
3. Why should I become a Visionkeeper?
Do you want to grow exponentially? Then give away what you've received. You’ll mature more that way than you would from sitting on a pew or trying to keep God's mysteries hidden. An old adage goes, "People would rather see a sermon than listen to one any day." A visionkeeper is an ongoing sermon...a life well lived example for others.
4. What kind of on-going spiritual support will I receive from the home
office?
Visionkeepers are
trained to oversee small groups of 3-10 students. Our courses
cover subjects essential to Christian living and on-going classes help make
this a way of life. The basic class structure allows a
Visionkeeper to maintain an atmosphere of discipline, accountability,
relationship and community. Visionwriting is the Lord’s tool for confirming and interpreting His Word in a personal way.
Weekly assignments known as Response
Questions or Heartwork help us rally our focus and rehearse what we've learned. Every
Visionkeeper is held accountable for their classes through communications we require. Sometimes we offer live workshops in California to augment a Visionkeeper’s training.
We value every Visionkeeper and know ongoing faith is required to help others find the path. God is the Master Strategist and receiving His wisdom is pivotal to
those who intend to walk out their freedom in Christ. We stay alert, and look for ways to increase
our fellowship with Visionkeepers.
