Praying for one another reminds us that we are all fighting an incredible battle.  We never know what someone else is going through – unless they are vulnerable enough to ask for prayer.  We touch our unity and equality with others when we humble ourselves and pray.  Let’s strive for the Lord’s heart as we pray (keeping opinion and reason at bay) so that He can inspire us with words of faith – keeping our union with Christ in full view.

When posting a new prayer request, it may be easier to create a  new topic – one that includes your name.

Example:  Susan’s Prayer Requests.

Each time you have a new request you can post it under the same heading.  People visiting the forum will see when you have added a “new post” and as they read each new request they will continue to add new words of encouragement.

It seems like this may help this new forum to stay organized.  We’ll see…life has a wonderful way of getting a little messy!

Kathy’s message was equally encouraging.  In sharing her testimony she revealed how priceless the other journal has been in her life.  The other journal was something Jaque recommended years ago as a place for getting down to the nitty-gritty with God and laying everything on the line.

Each participant enjoyed hearing God in our newly presented journals (thanks Kathy) as well as a brief moment to offer a few words of wisdom to the child within.  The sharing time was rich and felt very comfortable.  Although many of us were meeting for the first time, you would not have known it by the naturally easy-going conversation we enjoyed with one another.

The food was wonderful…but visiting with old friends and meeting new friends was the real reason we lingered around the table!

He is currently running an orphanage while the director is away (approx. 150 children and receiving more each day), as well as overseeing the temporary hospital he has set up in the church of the orphanage with about 20 intensive care patients. He is also providing ground support for two helicopters, the helicopter he was to fly had some fuel line problems. He is okay, and working very hard.

The orphanage is completely overrun with children and badly needs help. Fawn will be flying in to join him Feb 6th for a couple of weeks to help out while kind folks at home look after their young children.
Please pray for safety for Fawn and Michael and that God would pour out His grace on the people of Haiti through them and their willingness to serve. The biggest need is for healthy leadership and organization. The country also needs a strong government to be brought up out of this catastrophe. Please pray specifically for a revival in this land and for the national religion of voo-doo to be renounced. Thank-you!

No doubt Jaque’s new friends enjoyed the teaching and found the bigger gem of communing with ‘Christ in them’ revitalizing.  Recognizing our new covenant right to unbroken fellowship opens a door that no man can close.

Those who’ve been around awhile are familiar with the dynamic teaching team of Kathy Schinhofen and Cyndi Van Meter-Smith.  Kathy and Cyndi taught our courses for many years and have recently returned to teaching a local class.  Class is held at American Family Living, a Christian counseling center in Orange, California.  For more information call 714-123-4567.
