The Tongue is Connected to the Brain

In class last night we talked about how the tongue is connected to the brain and the pen is connected to the heart.  We think, then talk.  We write to see what’s really going on in our hearts, for a revelation of our own heart can astound us.  God is after hearts; He says He desires truth in the inward parts, so we write to verify the truth that’s already in our hearts, to unravel lies,  and to let God teach our hearts His ways.  I love what happens with a pen when I’m ready to be ‘gut level’ honest with God and myself.  The truth ‘down deep’ really does set me free.  I think if I were to ever start having a physical collection of beautiful things it would be pens, because I just love hearts.
