Manna

Hi everyone, it’s me…Fawn.  I was reading about the Israelites in the desert, specifically when the Lord gave them manna each morning to eat. Awhile back, the Lord taught me about how our “manna” is spiritual food, the nourishment he gives us when we seek him each day. He taught me that he gives us only enough for that day, we are not to store it away, trying to have enough for tomorrow as well. He also taught me that it is all by his grace that it comes. I can’t make it fall from the sky.

What he taught me yesterday is even more cool. Having been a part of Visionwriters for 1 1/2 years now, I have come to really appreciate the phrase “Lord, what is it?” It’s often the starting place for my journals and the igniter for the fire that burns away all the junk around what’s really going on inside.  Well, come to find out ‘manna’ means ‘What is it?’.  Cool, huh?!
